With the imminent launch of the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat train, passengers will enjoy easier access to the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. The upcoming inauguration, to be conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via a virtual conference, marks a significant milestone in improving rail connectivity. The service will particularly benefit devotees making frequent trips to Kashi for Lord Shiva’s darshan and those traveling to Ayodhya from Varanasi, streamlining their journey.


Route and Fare Details


The Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat train will traverse through key stations including Bokaro Steel City, Hazaribagh, Koderma, and Gaya Junction, facilitating seamless travel for passengers. Although official fare details are yet to be announced, it is estimated that the chair car fare from Ranchi to Varanasi will range from Rs. 1200 to Rs. 1500, while the executive class fare could fall between Rs. 2100 and Rs. 2500.


Key Timings to Remember


Commencing its journey from Ranchi at 5:50 AM, the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat train will arrive in Varanasi at 12:10 PM, offering travelers an expedited travel experience. The return journey will depart from Varanasi at 1:30 PM, reaching Ranchi by 7:50 PM. Compared to the existing trains on different routes taking approximately 11 to 13 hours, the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat train promises to cover the distance in just 6.30 hours, providing passengers with significant time savings. Although the schedule is yet to be finalized, updates are expected soon.
